Director of Experiential
Position Overview:
The Director of Experiential is a seasoned professional accountable for the end-to-end management of client projects in the custom production and experiential events field. Serving as the intersection of creativity and strategy, the Director of Experiential is responsible for delivering unforgettable experiences through budget scoping, sourcing, planning, and implementation. Role reports to the Director of Services and works closely with the VP of Sales and Director of Creative Strategy.
Director of Experiential is a jack of all trades – knowing enough about all project elements to discern when planning is on track and milestones are being executed at a high level. They are extremely organized and communicate efficiently with clients and team. They employ a sense of situational awareness and excellent time management, setting proper expectations throughout the planning process. They are conscientious leaders and team players that are excited to bring impactful experiences to life with passion and precision. They are required to have experience in a variety of experiential projects including brick and mortar pop ups, mobile activations, large events and comfortable handling outside the box requests from Clients. An existing network and knowledge of vendors to complete a variety of custom client asks and ability to efficiently vet and source vendors is required. Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in production and experiential marketing, completing large scale and impactful events.
- Experience with innovation in the event space.
- Existing knowledge of vendors and production processes.
- Proven track record in project management with 8+ years of experience.
- Proven ability to effectively multitask across several projects.
- Preferably located in the NYC area for hybrid work model, but not required.
- Proven experience in overseeing project managers and production teams.

Detailed Responsibilities:
- Scoping and Budgeting:
- Work with sales team to scope potential opportunities from a cost, capabilities, and process standpoint.
- Project Handoff:
- Collaborate with the sales team to execute and refine the sales-to-service handoff process.
- Ensure a clear and repeatable project handoff process during scheduled meetings.
- Project Planning:
- Create actionable project plans within the Promobile system, outlining milestones, deliverables, and timelines.
- Lead project kickoff calls with clients and Promobile teams to initiate projects effectively.
- Progress Monitoring:
- Conduct weekly progress calls for all projects, ensuring alignment with milestones and client expectations.
- Communicate real-time project updates, progress, and queries to clients and internal teams.
- Resource Management:
- Delegate project responsibilities to internal teams and external resources based on the project plan.
- Capture and document vendor information for future use, contributing to the growth of Promobile’ s vendor network.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Guide content capture for live projects, systematically storing information.
- Gather project information for potential case studies, ensuring a comprehensive documentation process.
- Maintain a constant flow of information and data with creatives and sales for various purposes.
- Ensure project recaps are filled out.
- Accurately track and report on project budgets.
- Opportunity Identification:
- Identify upsell and value-add opportunities for ongoing projects.
- Communicate out-of-scope items to the sales team, direct reports, and Clients.
- Project Closure:
- Efficiently close out projects internally and externally with clients through scheduled closeout calls.

Salary Range: $160k – $180K
