How can you be a part of our growing company?
We are seeking a Software Development Manager with a robust background in software development and team management to lead our team of 10 developers. The primary project will involve upgrading and improving our existing in-house CRM to meet the evolving needs of our business. In this role, you will be a crucial part of our software development team, managing technology relationships, reporting directly to the CTO, and working closely with our existing team of project managers and developers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide effective direction to the development department.
- Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to develop use cases and solutions to existing business problems.
- Gain a comprehensive understanding of our business needs.
- Mentor and manage the development team with regular feedback and meetings.
- Conduct daily code reviews and provide feedback to keep code concise and uniform with our existing code base.
- Monitor project progress and manager resources to meet project deadlines
- Proactively identify and address project bottlenecks and challenges.
- Recommend new technologies and ways to increase efficiency.
- Recognize business needs and provide opportunities for improvement.
Requirements:
- 10 plus years of experience in software development.
- 5 plus years of experience managing remote development teams.
- Mastery of RESTful APIs, Python, HTML, GIT and SQL.
- Django Mastery.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven experience as a Software Manager
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Proven experience as a software development manager.
- Experience working in an agile/scrum environment with JIRA
