ABOUT US:
Doggo Camp is a leash free dog daycare adventure and kennel free boarding facility located in Kamas, UT. We offer daycare and overnight boarding which includes shuttle service to/from the Park City area. While doggos are with us, they are a part of our family – our staff is present 24/7 to supervise dog-on- dog play, lead stimulating hikes in nature, and snuggle in our dog-and-human shared living space. We treat the doggos as if they are our own and ensure they are both happy - but above all - safe!
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Hike with dogs off leash in pack social arrangement of groups of 5-25 individual dogs
2. Driving a Doggo Camp vehicle to pick up/drop off our four-legged clients in and around Park City
3. Keeping indoor and outdoor spaces clean (scooping poop, mopping, sanitizing, washing/refilling water bowls, etc)
4. Engaging with doggos (helping with new doggo introductions into the pack, increase social cohesion, watching/guiding play, leading doggos in hikes/play), maintaining a calm environment, monitoring dogs’ health and safety, watching for and addressing signs of stress, enforce behavioral training, etc.
5. Reporting to the parents with a report card and pictures through our software system and communicating with them around questions, issues, and overall customer service
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
1. Must LOVE all dogs – regardless of breed, size, or temperament…even if they are misbehaving
2. You must be able to be on your feet for long periods of time (standing, walking, hiking, and running), be able to bend, crouch, crawl, and be able to lift up to 50 lbs, and be capable of handling dogs weighing over 100 lbs.
3. Have an assertive, calm, confident, and patient demeanor
4. Situational awareness during all activities – dog introductions and interactions, vehicle operation, entering/leaving client’s private residence and property, Doggo Camp property safety, etc.
5. Comfortable managing large groups of dogs, knowledgeable about dog behavior and body language, and unafraid to involve yourself in the event of a fight
6. Knowledgeable and friendly engagement with clients
7. Enjoy working in a close-knit, team environment
8. Love to be outdoors year-round, in all temperatures and all kinds of weather
9. Are excited to work for a growing business that offers plenty of opportunities for independent projects and creative problem solving
10. Must possess a valid driver’s license and have a clean driving record with ability to get to work regardless of weather
11. High school or equivalent

ADDITIONAL NOTES
This position can be considered a “dream job” by many because primarily the time required is spent with dogs outside in a nature environment. It can be physical and mentally tiring but on the flip side, you are surrounded with doggos who are happy and want to give/receive love. We pride ourselves in giving doggos their best life when away from their parents and keeping them safe. Location: 210 N Main Street; Kamas UT - We prefer if you live near Kamas/Park City/Heber and drive a reliable vehicle that can get to work regardless of weather
Level/Salary Range: $15+/hr (based on experience) during training/up to 30 days (DOE) then $16+/hr after 30 days (DOE); Performance eval/raise every 6-12 mo
Position Type: PT or FT dependent on schedule; Weekend shifts may be needed
Required Prerequisite: Individual completion of online Canine CPR Class or current certification within 30 days of hire. After a 90-day period of work and successful position review, employee will be reimbursed cost of CPR certification.

After initial Zoom interview, you will have a working interview and be expected to show up ready to work and learn.
