Role Description
CareView Communications is currently accepting resumes for an Internal Help Desk Technician. The technician will be responsible for
installation and maintenance of company laptops/desktops as well as responsible for Ant-Virus and MDM technology. The technician will
also have the opportunity learn/assist with CareView proprietary software installation/management.
Key Areas of Responsibility
Communicate with administration, employees, and other departments to coordinate efforts, facilitate solutions
Ability to work with remote personnel to diagnose and repair issues in the field
Comply with industry standards, safety rules and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures
Responsible for maintaining an inventory of equipment utilizing company software
Install/Support in house desktops, laptops and printers
Primary point of contact for company issues with desktops, laptops and remote connectivity
Configure company phones and MDM software for phone security and management
Attends weekly meetings
Install network and server equipment in data center and communication rooms including cabling and power
Assist with analyzing and resolving network hardware and software problems; checking systems for alarms, taking appropriate
corrective action and working with tech ops to resolve network problems
Performs other related duties as assigned
Experience & Skills
Ability to work individually or in small groups
Effective listening and communication skills in client support driven environment
Demonstrate proficiency in typing, grammar, and internal communication tools
Proficiency in Microsoft products including word, excel, and MS 365
Proficient in Google Office Suite
Able to explain technical issues to technical and nontechnical employees & clients
Preferred Skills
Familiarity with Snipe-it or other asset management software
Familiarity with IBM Security MaaS360 or other MDM software
Familiarity with McAfee/Trellix Anti-Virus software
Ability to script/program and automate tasks
Special Requirements
Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs.
Must pass a criminal background check and drug test
Required to pass HIPAA compliance test
