The Hoy Center encompasses Westminster-Canterbury's long term care (LTC), rehab, and pre-hab services.

Are you eager to play a pivotal role in healthcare administration? The HOY Center is looking for a dedicated Unit Clerk to join our compassionate team. In this position, you'll be instrumental in ensuring the efficient operation of our center while providing essential support to our residents and patients.
Responsibilities:
Efficient Administration: Manage and maintain accurate resident, unit, and nursing records to uphold our high standards of care. Your meticulous attention to detail will be critical in organizing and updating documentation.
Patient Care Support: Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and healthcare professionals to facilitate patient care. From transcribing medical orders to scheduling appointments, your role directly impacts the well-being of our patients.
Team Coordination: Work collaboratively within our team to streamline daily operations. Your effective communication skills will be essential in coordinating tasks and providing excellent service.
Environmental and Supplies Management: Ensure adherence to safety protocols by overseeing inventory management and hazardous waste disposal. Your proactive approach will maintain a safe and efficient workplace.
Patient Interaction: Provide friendly and supportive assistance to residents and visitors, ensuring they feel welcomed and cared for during their time at the HOY Center.
Requirements for Success:
Certification: Completion of a Certified Nursing Aide training program and state certification as a Nurse Aide, equipped to perform CNA duties as needed.
Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with medical terminology, electronic health records (EHRs), and proficiency in Microsoft applications and Google tools. Experience with EMRs is a plus.
Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Your compassionate approach to patient care will set you apart.
