About the role
The Associate Merchandiser will collaborate with the lead Lou & Grey Merchandiser on the execution of departmental strategies and business objectives within all of the Lou & Grey categories. The Associate Merchandiser is responsible for translating information and ideas that contribute to an actionable business plan and supports the department with any necessary tactical responsibilities.

Achieve/exceed financial plan by supporting the execution of departmental strategies and business objectives for Lou & Grey
Manage daily Merchandising responsibilities, including accurately building, editing and maintaining assortment sheets; reconciling and updating receipts; maintaining sample accuracy and handoff; communicating necessary information to Cross-Functional team in a timely manner
Conduct research on appropriate fashion trends, price points and promotional opportunities; collect information from competitive set including pricing, style, and key messaging information; make recommendations based on competitive research
Provide information and ideas to support development of seasonal strategies
Build relationships with Cross-Functional partners, including Design, Technical Design, Planning, Sourcing, and Marketing
Demonstrate strong awareness of retail landscape
You’ll bring to the role
3+ years of related experience in Merchandising
Bachelor’s degree in Fashion or Merchandising, or equivalent
Solid knowledge of retail financial measurements
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong self-management and time management skills
Detail oriented, with excellent follow-through skills

The target salary range for this role is: $72,000

This position works in a hybrid model, with three-four days per week worked in the Times Square Tower location and one-two days per week worked remotely.
