Due to our rapid growth, we are currently seeking a logistics sales representative to support brokerage growth.
Job description
The logistics sales representative will play a pure business development function, establishing relationships, tracking and securing requests for information (RFI) and requests for proposal (RFP) as well as hunt for direct to contract opportunities with freight providers large and small domestically in the Midwest, Northeast and Southeast United States as well as internationally. United S has an established account management team so you’ll have support managing relationships once developed.
Position requirements
- Proven extensive national or international truckload (TL) or Less Than Truck Load (LTL) sales experience and trusted relationships, preferably in US/MX Cross Border. Expectation is that you'll bring a book of business with you.
- Proven track record of successfully executing sales campaigns.
- Developing and maintaining relationships with key clients.
- Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities with key clients.
- Developing and implementing customized solutions to meet client transportation and logistics requirements.
- Meeting sales targets and contributing to the overall growth and profitability of the company.
- Conducting regular business reviews with key clients to ensure customer satisfaction and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborating with other departments within the company to ensure seamless service delivery to key clients.
- Managing client contracts and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations
- Providing regular sales reports to management
Educational Background / Work Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales or a related field is required.
- 4-7 years of experience in transportation brokerage or transportation customer sales experience TL or LTL is required.
- Strong knowledge of US Customs Clearance, Cross Border Operations and Warehouse Solutions is a huge plus.

Salary
Up to $100,000 annually commensurate with experience plus uncapped commission
