As a BHS you will be working with and supporting our clients in their journey to recovery from substances or mental health issues is our mission. Observation, supervision, and reporting on patients while being professional in our appearance and interactions. Showing compassion and still able to hold strong boundaries while working with and interacting with our patients. Providing transportation to outside appointments, picking up or dropping off patients with coordinated facilities.
Job Duties and Specifications:
· *Provide supervision and support to clients at the residential treatment center.
· *Complete intake paperwork with new clients.
· *Perform property searches for agency-defined contraband.
· *Driving clients to appointments
· *Support clients in daily struggles and emotional highs and lows
· *Reporting daily interactions (computer literate)
· *Responsible for the daily upkeep and ensuring standards of safety and cleanliness
· *Familiar with programs used in the support of addiction recovery (12 step, celebrate, refugee, smart, etc.)
· *Open minded, compassionate, professional in appearance and interactions
· *Comfortable with safely de-escalating sudden and intense behavior from clients.
· *Collaborate with multidimensional treatment team including nursing, medical and clinical effectively
· *Adhere to agency standards regarding professional boundaries.
· *Must show integrity in your actions and your word
· *Maintain high standards of ethical and professional conduct and adhere strictly to confidentiality requirements.
· *Comply with all policies and procedures.
· *Adhere to established standards of hygiene and universal infection control procedures in handling all samples and supplies.

Minimum Skill Qualification:
· Ability to provide documentation and reports to clinical staff when required and necessary.
· Understanding of standard precautions and hygiene.
· Understand client/patient/resident rights.
· Provide treatment that promotes client dignity, independence, individuality, strengths, privacy, and choice.
· Recognize obvious symptoms of a mental disorder, personality disorder, or substance abuse.
· Be able to recognize and respect cultural differences.
· Understanding how to use computers, email, electronic health records (KIPU).
· Demonstrate ethical behavior, such as by respecting staff member and client boundaries and recognizing the inappropriateness of receiving gratuities from a client.
Minimum Qualification:
· *High school diploma or GED with 6 months behavioral health experience.
· *Valid Driver’s License. Clean Driving Record
· *CPR/First Aid Certified *CPI Certification
· *Level II or higher Fingerprint Clearance Card
· *21 and older.
· *Previous experience in sub-acute or residential mental health or chemical dependency treatment.

Job Types: Part-time, Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
