Responsibilities:
- Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting for multiple facilities within the region.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and financial reporting standards.
- Provide strategic financial guidance and support to facility administrators and department heads.
- Analyze financial data and trends to identify opportunities for improvement and cost-saving initiatives.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and implement financial strategies to achieve company objectives.
- Manage the regional accounting team and ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.
- Monitor and evaluate internal controls to safeguard company assets and mitigate financial risk.
- Participate in the development of policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in healthcare AR, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Previous experience in skilled nursing or long-term care facilities is required.
- Strong understanding of healthcare reimbursement systems, including Medicare and Medicaid.
- Knowledge of long-term care regulations and compliance requirements.
- Proven track record of financial analysis, budgeting, and strategic planning.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and integrity in financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial management software.
