Position Summary:
The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for overseeing sales activities within the designated region, managing a team of independent representatives, and ensuring the achievement of sales targets. They will collaborate closely with the VP of Sales, provide strategic guidance to their team, and foster a culture of excellence and teamwork.
Qualifications Required:
· Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
· 5+ years of experience in sales management, preferably in a similar industry.
· Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
· Strong leadership and team management skills.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
· Willingness to travel within the region as needed.
· Sales experience in roofing industry preferred.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
· Work closely with the VP of Sales to develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for the region, including sales objectives, targets, and timelines.
· Manage, mentor, and motivate a team of independent representatives, providing ongoing training, coaching, and performance feedback.
· Monitor sales performance and KPIs, analyze trends, and develop action plans to ensure sales targets are met or exceeded.
· Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers in the region, identifying opportunities for growth and expansion.
· Stay abreast of market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs, and use this information to develop and adjust sales strategies as needed.
· Manage the sales budget for the region, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively and efficiently.
· Prepare and present regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and other relevant metrics to the VP of Sales and other stakeholders.
· Collaborate with other departments, such as Marketing, Product Development, and Customer Service, to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives.
· Perform other related duties assigned by the VP of Sales.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
· Requires 50% travel. Frequent travel is anticipated outside the local area and requires overnight stay.
· The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch.
· Flexibility in hours is allowed, but the employee must be available during the “core” work hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and must work 40 hours each week to maintain full-time status. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
