We are looking for nurses (either LPN or RN) to contribute to our close-knit team. We work closely with five residents, who are developmentally and/or intellectually disabled. We offer flexibility and training on all equipment. We are looking to add you to our family! CNAs on staff will provide most direct care, but you will be responsible for some basic ADL's. Please have good communication skills (both written and verbal), and be responsible and reliable.
Salary: $37+/hr with paid vacation/personal leave, medical, vision, life and dental benefits available to FT (30+ hours/week) staff after 60 days. Please send your resume to the email provided with this posting.
Minimum Qualifications
- Active state license: LPN or RN
- Active Food Handler’s Permit
- Active BBP certification
- Active CPR certification
- Ability to lift, move, or assist clients using proper body mechanics
- Pass a criminal background and fingerprint check, as required by WA state law
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients and coworkers
Preferred Qualifications
- At least one (1) year of nursing experience

Responsibilities
- Follow individual client care plans
- Physical caregiving tasks: transferring, bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding
- Assisting clients with daily activities
- Housekeeping tasks: meal preparation, laundry, cleaning

With four combined programs, DAHLIA Living is home to 25 adults with developmental disabilities. Our residents are active in their communities and many have jobs or attend camps. They all get to come home at night to their own room in their own home.
