Job Description:
American Silversmiths is seeking a motivated and creative recent college graduate to join our team as a Social Media Marketing Associate. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Social Marketing Director, company owner, photographers, and graphic artists at our factory to enhance the online presence of our brand. You will be responsible for managing and supporting social media accounts for six distinct brand names within our portfolio.
Job Duties:
1. Content Creation: Generate engaging and visually appealing content, including text, images, and videos, that aligns with the unique identity of each brand.
2. Social Media Management: Monitor and maintain social media accounts for each brand, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Pinterest. Ensure consistent posting schedules and respond to comments and inquiries promptly.
3. Campaign Development: Collaborate with the team to plan and execute social media campaigns that drive brand awareness, engagement, and sales.
4. Audience Engagement: Foster a sense of community among followers, actively engage with customers, and build strong relationships to increase brand loyalty.
5. Analytics and Reporting: Use social media analytics tools to track key performance metrics and provide regular reports on the effectiveness of social media campaigns. Make data-driven recommendations for improvements.
6. Trend Research: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and social media best practices to identify new opportunities for brand growth.
7. Content Calendar: Create and maintain a content calendar for each brand, ensuring that content is relevant, timely, and consistent with brand messaging.
8. Collaboration: Work closely with photographers and graphic artists to create and curate visually appealing content that resonates with the target audience.
9. Competitor Analysis: Monitor competitor activities on social media platforms to identify strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities for American Silversmiths.
10. Budget Management: Assist in managing social media advertising budgets to maximize the impact of paid campaigns.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Strong passion for and understanding of the Equestrian, Farm, Ranch, and Western Lifestyle industries.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in social media platforms and management tools.
- Basic knowledge of graphic design and photography is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and meet deadlines.
- Creative thinking and the ability to adapt to evolving social media trends.
