As a Maintenance Electrician, you'll play a pivotal role in our Total and Preventive Maintenance (TPM) efforts, ensuring our equipment and facilities operate at peak performance around the clock. From performing preventive maintenance to troubleshooting electromechanical issues, you'll be at the forefront of keeping our operations running smoothly.
Responsibilities:
· Execute preventive maintenance tasks to ensure the reliability of equipment.
· Assist in equipment installations and start-ups to guarantee smooth operations.
· Conduct tooling changeovers to support production transitions.
· Troubleshoot electromechanical issues to maintain operational efficiency.
· Install and repair electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures, ensuring compliance with electrical codes.
· Test and troubleshoot electrical systems and equipment to ensure proper functionality.
· Document maintenance activities to track progress and ensure accountability.
· Support spare parts management and preventive maintenance system development.
· Minimize unscheduled downtime through proactive maintenance initiatives.
· Adhere to safety protocols, including lockout tag-out procedures and industrial standards.
· Drive continuous improvement projects to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
· Collaborate on facility projects and provide support during off-shift work as needed.
· Operate and maintain machine shop equipment to support production requirements.
· Support production operators to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications:
· Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Maintenance Electrician in an automated manufacturing environment.
· Proficiency in mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
· Working knowledge of facility-related equipment such as HVAC, air compressors, and pumps.
· Degree in electrical engineering or equivalent technical education preferred.
· Experience with PLC-based equipment and basic troubleshooting of robotic systems.
· Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems.
· Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with internal teams and external service providers.
