Job Summary/Overview:
- Manage and lead data collection, tracking, and analysis for various clinical measures & programs (i.e., HMIS; SBIRT; RSR; UDS)
- Identify opportunities to improve data collection processes and implement changes to enhance data management across programs
- Develop data/evaluation conceptual frameworks/logic models that guide work
- Analyze quantitative & qualitative data using statistical software packages (e.g., SPSS, SAS, STATA, R, Atlasti, NVivo)
- Develop evaluation resources, data management best practices, and other supporting documents
- Apply appropriate analysis techniques and statistical programming to the collection, examination, and reporting of data, including queries to aid in timely and accurate reporting
- Use data visualization tools to develop dashboards and communicate findings to various audiences
- Identify trends in the data that support data-driven decision making
- Maintain awareness of and familiarity with organization's services, information, documentation and reporting issues and requirements
- Designs and produces and interprets dashboards, charts and other presentation formats used for decision making and to track and improve data quality
- Assist in preparation of grant applications and in meeting conditions of award as it relates to data monitoring and reporting
- Participate in Plan, Do, Study, Act (PDSA) projects as assigned
- This position may require evening and weekend hours to meet departmental and business goals
Minimal Qualifications/Experience/Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in clinical data management
- Working knowledge of statistical & business analytic tools (i.e., Tableau, Power BI, SPSS) preferred
- Experience with electronic medical records or client level databases
- Strong verbal, written, & data visualization skills
- Experience working in a community-based healthcare setting preferred
- Ability to perform duties with minimal direction an supervision
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Ability to adjust to variable workload and changing priorities
- Experience with and proficiency in Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, etc.)
