Job Overview:
We seek a dynamic and experienced Senior Sales Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, a passion for education, and the drive to bring cutting-edge data analytics solutions to K-12 school districts.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth through outside sales and technical sales efforts. This role requires a sales professional with a strong background in technology sales and the ability to negotiate complex deals. The successful candidate will be expected to maintain high customer satisfaction and work closely with the sales team to analyze market trends and develop effective sales strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales plan to meet or exceed sales targets, focusing on technology sales and outside sales opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with district-level decision-makers.
- Understand the specific needs of K-12 districts and effectively communicate how our data analytics platform can meet those needs.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activity to stay ahead and develop effective sales strategies.
- Conduct presentations and product demonstrations to showcase the value of our platform.
- Respond to customer inquiries and concerns, providing exceptional service and support.
- Stay abreast of the latest trends in K-12 education and data analytics to inform sales strategies.
- Negotiate complex sales agreements and work closely with the sales team to ensure successful deal closures.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement sales initiatives and promotions.
- Continuously improve sales skills and knowledge through ongoing training and professional development.
Qualifications:
- Proven track record of success in outside and technical sales in the K 12 District Education markets, focusing on technology sales.
- Strong background in customer service and sales, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key clients and prospects.
- Proficient in Salesforce and able to use it effectively to manage sales pipeline and track leads.
- Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to analyze market trends and develop effective sales strategies.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in sales, focusing on technology sales and outside sales.
