Deaconess Abundant Life Communities, manages communities of engaged, friendly and generous older adults. Founded in 1889, as New England Deaconess Association, the organization has celebrated a long history and renowned reputation for providing a broad range of arts and fitness programs, residential and health care options on three beautiful campuses in Concord, MA, Northampton, MA and Gilford, NH.
The development program at NEDA has seen tremendous growth over the past three years, we are looking for a person who has the drive and passion to work with older adults by garnering philanthropic support.
Some responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Managing the development, implementation, and evaluation of NEDA’s annual giving strategies in pursuit of ambitious goals for funds and participation including creation and distribution of online and print materials.
- Engaging with residents and constituents to ensure they are welcome members of the NEDA community
- Responsible for accurate data inputs and related reporting in the Constituent Relationship Management (CRM) software (Raiser's Edge NXT). Works with development colleagues on timely production of reports and data outputs reporting and requests for information.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of development experience
- The ideal candidate will have a desire to positively influence the lives of others, and a sincere desire to work with older adults.
- This person should work well under pressure and be able to pivot when things don’t go according to plan.
