About the Job
The Senior Project Manager is a client-focused role that provides oversight and management of a portfolio of projects to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within scope and budget, including coordination of internal resources and external consultants. The position is responsible for delivering high-quality results for our clients.
Responsibilities
- Manages client expectations and provides proactive customer service
- Manages multiple projects simultaneously with the ability to effectively manage competing deadlines and priorities
- Manages project plans, timelines, and project budgets
- Develops weekly client planning documentation and leads client planning calls regarding all aspects of the project
- Responsible for recruitment, contracting and frequent communication with external thought leaders
- Coordinates meeting logistics such as travel for participants, venues, catering, and special requirements with vendors and suppliers
- Establishes relationships, coordinates with and manages third-party vendors
- Coordinates and schedules meetings with internal team, clients, and thought leaders
- Ensures timely development of content and final reports for all projects
- Develops accurate documents and communications for use with clients
- Facilitates client meetings and develops planning agendas
- Manages and guides support staff for projects on which they are working
- Leads on-site staff and serves as a point-of-contact for all meeting attendees
- Requires the ability to travel up to 10% of the time

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Business, Marketing, or Healthcare fields
- Minimum 3 years of experience with a healthcare or medical communications agency
- Minimum 5 years of experience in project management

Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
