Job Overview:
We are a family-owned construction equipment dealership seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Administrative Assistant. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, managing administrative tasks, and supporting the overall operations of our company.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer and direct phone calls, take messages, and provide information to callers
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate records
- Assist with general office tasks such as filing, scanning, and photocopying
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area
- Provide administrative support to various departments and the Corporate Management Team as needed.
Skills:
- Excellent phone etiquette with strong verbal communication skills
- Proficient typing skills with a high level of accuracy
- Familiarity with front desk operations and office procedures
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office or similar computerized office systems
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong attention to detail for proofreading documents
- Familiarity with basic marketing practices
- Previous experience as an Administrative Assistant is preferred
