Our Catering Company is looking for a Catering Chef to grow along with our company. We are a fast-growing business in Las Vegas catering to North Las Vegas, Henderson, Boulder City, and surrounding areas. Our growing portfolio means this job will be an hourly paid position with performance bonuses based on event schedule and performance. We are looking for a team player, who enjoys working with others and can work independently while still taking direction.
This candidate should have at least 5+ years of cook/chef experience. Catering chef experience is preferred. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working under pressure, time constraints, and in a fast-paced environment. This position is based on the event schedule, although additional hours will always be available if the event schedule is slower.
Duties of this position will include but are not limited to:
- Prepping ingredients
- Firing events for up to 2,000 people promptly
- Show up to work on-time and eager to work
- Follow our business recipes - fresh food is what we stand for and our customers come back for the same repeat meals
- Keeping a clean and organized kitchen - fridges, pantry, etc
This position will require you to be on your feet for hours at a time and may require you to lift up to 50 pounds.
Our recipes are made with fresh simple ingredients. Basic cooking skills are required but our recipes will be taught. We are getting very busy and can guarantee hours each week.
