Provide high-level administrative support for an individual, group of professionals, department, program or other administrative function. Independently perform non-routine administrative functions exercising discretion, such as coordinate events, conduct searches for information, prepare reports or handle special projects. Draft and edit correspondence, promotional materials or presentations. May monitor operating budget and maintain financial records. Handle non-routine inquiries and issues from internal and external sources.
As the Schedule Deputy, this position will provide administrative support for a busy main office in the Department of Computer Graphics Technology and serve as the Schedule Deputy for all CGT undergraduate and graduate level courses. Schedule Deputy responsibilities include working with the Registrar to prepare the master schedule of classes each term, attending Registrar meetings, troubleshooting schedule conflicts, entering student overrides, scheduling final exams, managing textbook lists, syllabi collecting, and course evaluations. They will also work on ordering supplies for the main office and faculty. They will help maintain the department newsletter, websites, and lobby screen. This person may provide backup support to the Executive Assistant and Student Success Specialist with school operations and events as necessary, and other duties as assigned.
