Job Summary
The successful candidate will perform various tasks to support Patients and Clinicians, while maintaining quality assurance and compliance. The individual will work collaboratively with various Team Members and Laboratory Staff, in accordance with department policies.

Role and Responsibilities
- Responsible for answering incoming calls and making outwardly calls daily to Patients and Clinicians while demonstrating courtesy and professionalism on the telephone while adhering to the guidelines.
- Coordinates and acts as liaison between Patients and Laboratory staff.
- Must accurately access and enter information into the Laboratory computer systems.
- Completes and maintains records in a manner that demonstrates compliance and careful record keeping, i.e., order entry, documenting incoming and outgoing calls, updating demographics.
- Conforms to departmental productivity standards for each function performed by the Customer Service department.
- Remains flexible if responsibilities need to be temporarily changed due to workflow and/or scheduling.
- Promotes positive co-worker relationships, teamwork, and cooperation, both within the department and across departmental lines.
- Completes required trainings.
- Other duties as assigned by Operational Supervisor.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- High school diploma or GED; completion of a certificate or associate degree may be preferred.
- Minimum of one-year practical experience in customer service specialization.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with computer systems required, including web-based programs and applications as well as some Microsoft Office applications: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, or OneNote.
- Excellent communication verbally and written.
- Demonstrates excellent skills of time management and self-directing workflow.
- Knowledge of HIPPA and Compliance.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $18.50 per hour
