The Digital Marketing Director is responsible for leading and executing the company's sales and marketing efforts to drive business growth, increase market share, and achieve revenue targets. This role involves developing strategic plans, managing a team of sales and marketing professionals, and collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless execution of initiatives. The Sales and Marketing Director will focus on both customer acquisition and retention strategies, leveraging market insights and analytics.
ROLE + RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic Planning
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales and marketing strategies that align with the company's overall business objectives.
- Conduct market research and analyze industry trends to identify growth opportunities and potential challenges.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of sales and marketing initiatives
Email Marketing
- Develop an email marketing strategy aligned with overall marketing goals.
- Define target audience segments based on customer data and behavior.
- Create an email marketing calendar outlining campaign schedules, key dates, and themes.
- Responsible for Customer List Management, Campaign Creation, Automation, Content Development, Personalization, Testing and Optimization, Analytics and Reporting and Compliance, Integration, Customer Engagement, Retention and Loyalty
Website Development + Maintenance
- Responsible for Website Development, Content Management, Website Maintenance, SEO and Analytics, User Experience (UX) and Design, Technical Support, Project Management, and Compliance and Accessibility
Graphic Design
- Create visual concepts, designs, and layouts for digital and print media, including websites, social media, advertisements, brochures, posters, and presentations.
- Develop and maintain consistent branding and design standards across all materials.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to produce compelling and on-brand visual content.
- Responsible for Brand Identity, Digital Media, Print Media, Trade Exhibition Booth Designs
Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and manage the sales and marketing teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Provide regular feedback, training, and development opportunities to team members.
- Set clear goals and performance expectations for the team.
Sales Management
- Oversee the development and execution of sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including new markets, partnerships, and customer segments.
- Manage the sales pipeline, track progress, and report on sales performance.
Marketing Management
- Oversee the creation and implementation of marketing campaigns, including digital marketing, content marketing, social media, and traditional advertising.
- Ensure brand consistency and integrity across all marketing channels.
- Develop and manage the marketing budget, optimizing spend for maximum ROI.
Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders.
- Implement and execute customer retention strategies to enhance loyalty and long-term engagement.
- Address customer feedback and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Communicate sales and marketing plans, progress, and results to senior management and other stakeholders.
Market Expansion
- Identify and evaluate opportunities for market expansion and diversification.
- Develop go-to-market strategies for new products, services, or market segments.
- Analyze the competitive landscape and adapt strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Proven experience as a Sales and Marketing Director or in a similar senior sales and marketing role.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- In-depth knowledge of sales and marketing principles, strategies, and best practices.
- Experience with marketing analytics, CRM systems, and sales management tools.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in the healthcare, medical equipment manufacturer and distributor industry.
- Proficiency in marketing automation software, CRM (HubSpot), ERP (Infor), and digital marketing tools.
- Understanding of SEO/SEM, Google Analytics, and other digital marketing platforms
