What will I do as an Accounting Specialist?
- Monthly Close for LSDC.
-
Quarterly reports for Bucks 3610 Prek Counts and 3620 Upper Perk Prek Counts.
-
Year-end reports for Bucks 3610 and 3510 Upper Perk.
-
Budget revision for Prek Counts in January.
-
Grant submissions and tracking.
-
Summer Camp budget.
-
Fiscal Year budget for all facilities.
-
License renewal Quakertown Child.
-
Submission to Pear for food program monthly.
-
Audit information for LSDC year end.
-
Reconcile check books for all companies monthly.
-
Reconcile check book for LSDC billing daily
-
LSDC statistics monthly.
-
Sales tax for Corp/LQNC/Mosser/Village Monthly.
-
Monthly close for Cedar Pointe.
-
Enter all billing on Pelican once a month.
-
Weekly check on all accounts over 14 days old.
-
Problem accounts.
- Contact old credit accounts for refund.
-
Identify accounts that need to be submitted to unclaimed property.
-
Determine who needs to be written off.
- Send out collection letters.
-
Daily deposit for LSDC.
-
Update rates in system.
-
Reconcile ABC Mouse program.
-
Download ELRC child forms from Pelican and upload to ProCare.

Download Tuition Express payment tracking in folder daily.
What is required in this position?
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Business OR Associate's Degree in a related field with a minimum of 5 years of Accounting experience.
