The restaurant cashier/bartender works under the direction of the Food and Beverage Director and management. The primary responsibilities include taking and delivering both food and beverage orders, assisting customers, completing transactions, while providing exceptional service to your guests.
- Handle cash, credit or check transactions with customers
- Scan goods and collect payments
- Ensure pricing is correct
- Issue change, receipts, refunds, or tickets
- Handle cash transactions in accordance with the property’s cash handling policy
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation, service standards and guest relations and etiquette
- Maintains current knowledge of hotel culture, amenities, and services, events in the area, points of interest, and services in the area
- Knows all drink recipes, menu items, and prices to effectively promote to guests
- Delivers food and beverages to guests
- Prepping batched cocktails and Store and pour shots
- Runs opening and closing procedures
- Completes closing financial Paperwork
- Re-Stocks Bar, Cleans frozen cocktail machine
- All other tasks and duties as assigned
