Looking for a self-motivated office assistant with good keyboarding and MS Office skills, strong telephone skills and solid experience with attention to detail, for a permanent 5-day-a-week position with benefits in the Merrillville area.
We are looking for an individual whose primary function will be to help our lead collections person with administrative collection work and to make calls on delinquent debt. This includes but is not limited to dispute resolution, ACDV response, payment processing, inbound and outbound collection calls, and file management. The assistant will also help with daily office tasks including but not limited to inbound phone call screening, incoming and outgoing mail, and some general office duties and file organization.
Individual will also be responsible for sorting and mailing outgoing checks, reviewing/filing credit card receipts, entering and paying corporate payables and other accounting duties as assigned by the Accounting Manager.
