Overview:
We are a local high end medical wellness and aesthetics facility in the Greenville, SC area, seeking a dedicated experienced Patient Care Coordinator /Medical Assistant to join our team. We are looking for someone with experience as a patient care coordinator with an interest in wellness and integrative medicine and plastic surgery, who is hands-on and willing to learn new skills. We are looking for someone who is passionate about providing the highest quality communication and care, and who is committed to creating a positive, lasting impact on our patients. Someone with the ability to articulate appropriate information to ultimately get the potential patient scheduled. Responsibilities:
- Initial phone contact and screening of potential patients
- Handle phone calls and inquiries promptly and efficiently
- Coordinate communication between patients, healthcare providers and administrative staff
- Setting up room and prepping patients for procedures
- Follow-up after procedures
- Keeping track of when patients need to come back
- Responding to patient concerns
- Cross-training for other responsibilities in the office
- Marketing of certain aspects of the practice, including designing print materials and may also include contributing to planning events and seminars, visiting local physicians offices and other venues, and social media posts
Experience:
- At least 1 year patient care coordinating experience
- At least 1 year scheduling experience
- At least 1 year patient care experience
- Experience in Integrative Medicine a plus
- Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills needed
- High level of empathy
- Knowledge of medical terminology is essential
- Aseptic technique experience a plus
- Excellent skills needed for managing inventory, scheduling, etc.
- Math skills needed (calculating doses, etc)
- Higher level education compensated accordingly within reason for the position

- This position is for 30-40 hours a week and is paid hourly
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
