The Pennsylvania Coalition Against Domestic Violence (PCADV) is dedicated to reducing, preventing, and educating the community about domestic violence. We are currently seeking a Training & Technical Assistance Specialist to assist our Legal Team. This position reports to the Legal Services Manager.
You will be responsible for:

ENHANCING the capacity of PCADV staff, advocates from the statewide network of domestic violence programs, and allied professionals in their efforts to provide comprehensive assistance to victims and survivors of domestic violence and their children

COORDINATING Technical Assistance (TA), resource development and training for Pennsylvania domestic violence program staff and advocates, allied professionals, and other agencies on trauma-informed, survivor centered, inclusive, and accessible direct service provision and best practice on topics related to domestic violence
- PROVIDING training on domestic violence and its economic impact to County Assistance Offices with the PA Department of Human Services
What qualifies me to be considered?

Relevant experience
- Experience with strategic planning process

Ability to develop collaborative relationships between individuals and agencies from diverse professional fields

Thorough understanding of the issues facing survivors of domestic violence who have experienced trauma and/or have mental health and/or substance abuse issues

Experience developing and implementing professional training programs
- Note: This position is mostly remote. Facilitation of some in-person trainings may be required.
