Who we are and what we do:
The Division of Regulatory Boards is a part of the Department of Commerce and Insurance, which is administered by the state government of Tennessee. The division is responsible for licensing and regulating professionals and businesses in the state. The Division of Regulatory Boards is authorized to take disciplinary action against license holders who violate laws governing their profession.
How you make a difference in this role:
The Regulatory Boards Division regulates nearly 340,000 licensed professionals. As part of the Administration team, you will support the Assistant Commissioner as well as the program areas that work directly with those licensees and consumers through administrative assistance and assisting in projects or process improvements.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide support to the Assistant Commissioner and Administration team.

Point of contact between Assistant Commissioner's office and other Divisions.

Handle all board member appointments and orientations.

Create and distribute Divisional administrative reports.
- Ensure office supplies are maintained and adequate supplies are always on hand.
- Schedule and coordinate meetings.
Review and assess the proper recipient to respond to customer emails.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of full-time professional staff administrative experience or related work.
