Aviation Mechanical Training Manager
Aviation Center of Excellence (ACE) is an aviation development center designed to assist aviation professionals and the organizations they work for to develop throughout their career. Our mission is to empower aspiring and experienced aviation professionals alike, equipping them with the necessary skills that not only foster technical but self-mastery skills. As one of our instructors, you will be assisting in shaping the next generation of aviation technicians through your knowledge, experience, and passion.
As a team member of ACE, you will be working in conjunction with our internal sister organizations as well as developing and conducting training through our development center. Candidates should be passionate educators who are able to work with a diverse range of learners and generations through multiple training formats.
Candidates should be able to demonstrate:

5. A commitment to safety and integrity in the aviation industry
Job Requirements are:
- A&P Certification is a must
- 5+ years, recent, continuous aircraft maintenance experience
- 3+ years of experience in aviation instruction
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other applications
- High level of familiarization with FAA procedures and regulations
- Instruct, mentor and control classes of up to 25 students in a shop/lab, hangar, airport and classroom environment
- Prepare and demonstrate proper aviation tool usage and safety practices
- Prepare projects, lessons, tests, quizzes and grade
- Update and maintain training documentation to ensure compliance
- Access, run and distribute reports
- Assist learners as necessary
- Work to maintain audit readiness for your departments
- Assist in maintaining training budget & billing for your departments
- May require work outside of normal hours and a flexible schedule
- Be able to lift 50 pounds, work in and around aircraft in various positions
- Comfort and experience with in-person & virtual training formats
Preferred
- Advanced sheet metal experience
- Advanced composite experience
- Advanced avionics/electrical experience
- Turbine experience
- IA certification
- Bilingual Spanish/English preferred, not required.
