The Executive Director is responsible for the implementation of all tasks required to achieve the corporation’s mission and goals. In this capacity, she/he is the primary interface for the corporation in public relations, contract negotiations and implementation, personnel relations, customer relations, and legislative relations.

Responsibilities for Executive Director
- Ensures corporation follows all local, state, and federal laws and regulations, concerning nonprofit operations, business operations, government contracting, human resources, and accounting.
- Guides corporation to maintain standards of excellence.
- Anticipates and protects corporation against ideological assaults by hostile entities.
- Administers all customer grant or contract requirements to ensure complete compliance.
- Oversees all corporate financial activities including budget preparation, monitoring of purchases, payments to vendors, and audit requirements.
- Solicits and secures enough funds to ensure the entity can meet its operating requirements.
- Ensures growth and success of state funded program.
- Managers public affairs campaigns about corporation and program.
- Ensures the personnel are obtained to meet all skills required by the corporation including full-time and part-time employees, and consultants.
- Directs all staff to meet Oklahoma contract administration, data collection and program standards.
- Ensures continuing educational enhancement of corporation employees and service providers.
- Maintains the philosophical and programmatic integrity of the Oklahoma contract and other grants or contracts.
- Develops budget and tracks compliance for the corporation and the Oklahoma contract.
- Implements policies and procedures for allocating program funds to service providers.
- Reviews and approves service providers.
- Oversees and approves all monitoring reviews for service providers.
- Ensures service provider contractual compliance.
- Ensures compliance with license agreements.
- Executes outreach campaigns.
- Ensures success of the annual conference and banquet.
- Approves education material proposed for service provider education materials buy.
- Approves new locations for service providers.
- Ensures necessary skills are in place for development of customer grant proposals, negotiations, and implementations.
- Informs & assists Board of Directors in setting goals and priorities.
- Assists Board of Directors in development and procurement of additional financial resources and creation of new programs.
- Performs other work-related duties as necessary or assigned by the Board of Directors.
Qualifications for Executive Director
- JD and state law license required
- Flexibility for up to 50% travel required (all within Oklahoma)
