Summary:
The Case Manager supports the implementation of ABA therapy programs across the home, center, and/or community settings. Case Managers may be responsible for direct services, for supervising Behavior Technicians (BT’s), as well as providing consistent parent / caregiver training and case oversight. The Case Manager will report to a Clinical Supervisor and Director weekly.
Responsibilities:
- Workdirectly with clients in their homes, clinic-based sessions, and/or in the community settings.
- Providing oversight to BTs working with the clients across environments.
- Ensure ABA programs are being implemented and run correctly and consistently.
- Ensure progress is being made across programs and families are satisfied with the progress.
- Coordinate with families and staff to manage your own schedule to provide training and support while maximizing service utilization.
Meet with Clinical Supervisor to:
- Update treatment plans/goals in Catalyst software
- Create individual employee goals to increase clinical skill sets.
- Access ongoing ABA clinical hours (restricted/unrestricted)
- Remain proficient with policies and procedures.
- Represent the company professionally in all client and colleague interactions.
- Complete mandatory clinical sessions notes on time.
- Maintain HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability Accountability Act) confidentiality.
- Attend monthly management meetings to keep up on industry trends and training.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in psychology or a related field OR valid certification as a Board-Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA)
- CPR and BLS (Basic Life Support) current certification (or obtain upon hire)
- 2 years of working experience with Children with Autism and/ or related disorders (ABA field preferred).
- 2 years of management /supervisor experience leading team members.
- Must have a valid California driver's license and personal and reliable vehicle.
- Auto Insurance (with your name visible on the policy as the owner or as a registered driver
- Experience with technology; Microsoft, Electronic data collection systems etc.
- Provide and Pass TB, (Tuberculosis test) and background check /Live Scan fingerprinting.
