Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer phone calls and assist accordingly
- Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar
- Verify patient insurance information and collect co-pays or payments
- Maintain patient records and update medical information in accordance with HIPAA regulations
- Ensure the reception area is clean and organized
Skills:
- Proficiency in using dental office software such as Eaglesoft
- Familiarity with medical records management systems
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and compliance
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with phone systems and handling high call volumes
Note: Experience working in a dental office environment is preferred but not required. Training will be provided for the right candidate.
