Job Description: As a Asset Manager, you’ll play a crucial role in overseeing and maintaining inventory and equipment used in various operations and coordinating equipment sent out to the field. Your responsibilities will span from managing equipment maintenance and repairs. Maintaining and ordering inventory for repairs, and ensuring the equipment is coordinated and available for current and future job orders. Your responsibilities will include:
· Equipment Maintenance and Repair: Maintain a complete set of records for equipment and parts inventory, including purchases, conditions, repair costs, and preventive maintenance.
· Oversee general management and coordination of preventative maintenance of equipment, including prioritizing repairs based on work orders and ensuring equipment is available for prospective orders.
· Establish and monitor a preventative maintenance schedule.
- Relaying information such as work orders or messages to and from work crews, field inspectors, supervisors, or emergency personnel.
· Performance Improvement / Reporting: coordinate with the team to enhance performance, quality, cost-effectiveness, cycle time, and robustness of test equipment and equipment inventory. Provide performance review on equipment and cost reporting to the Head of Operations.
· Understanding Equipment: Having a clear understanding of equipment and how the equipment is used and its function capabilities.
- Using telephones, email, or text messages to communicate with employees or emergency personnel.
- Speaking with supervisors or customers to resolve problems, address service requests, or provide necessary information.
- Preparing daily work schedules and work orders for Repair & Maintenance Dept.
- Keeping organized records of work requests, customer interactions, completed work, and related expenses.
- Logging Calls: Gathering all relevant information from the customers, supervisors, sales to properly complete and coordinate work orders.
- Prioritizing and organizing field equipment schedules and work orders.
Qualifications: To excel in this role, you should have:
- Strong communication skills and the ability to handle high-pressure situations.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously,
- Strong Software skills in Microsoft 365: Word, Excel, PP, etc.
- Familiarity with logistics and route planning.
- Excellent Computer Literacy: using tools such as Teams, Outlook, Telephones, messaging and computer systems.
- Prior experience in a similar position.
