Applicants should have the highest level of professionalism in interactions with patients and staff members. Applicants should have three or more years of medical office experience. Customer service experience is a plus.
Duties include:
—A warm welcome and fond farewell to patients
—Assisting our manager and staff in a professional manner
— Verifying insurance
— Confirming appointments
— Obtain pre-authorizations
— Obtain referrals for patients who require them
— Collecting co-pays, deductibles and balances up-front
—Communicating information to patients
—Reviewing charts for proper documentation
—Ordering diagnostic tests
—Answering phones
—Appointment scheduling
—All matter of usual clerical duties
—Duties to support our office and patients as needed
