ABOUT US - Our product WrkPlan is a SAAS accounting and contract management suite optimized for federal government service contractors and applicable to other businesses bidding and charging employee time and materials to long term contracts. WrkPlan functions include an integral time & expense portal, purchasing & inventory, business development & bidding, project management, Budgeting & Forecasting, and extensive reporting on contract funding & profitability, indirect rates, and standard financials.
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Be an integral participant in internal teams (e.g., marketing, customer support, and product development) to further evolve solutions to client needs.
· Identify and pursue potential clients, business opportunities, partnerships, and market verticals.
· Develop and implement strategic and tactical plans to improve our sales processes, achieve sales targets, and expand the customer base.
· Prepare and present business proposals, sales pitches, and negotiate contracts and agreements to maximize profits.
· Manage and grow existing client relationships, ensuring high customer satisfaction and retention.
· Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs.
· Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions.
REQUIREMENTS
· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
· Proven track record in business development, sales, or a related role within enterprise software solutions.
· Familiar with Government Contracting requirements for accounting and contract management, and ready to dig in and understand the functions and advantages WrkPlan offers.
· In-depth knowledge of enterprise suites (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Deltek, Jamis, NetSuite Unanet).
· Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team and function with a minimum of admin support.
