Duties:
- Assist in the preparation and production of bakery items such as bread, pastries, and cakes
- Follow recipes and instructions to ensure consistent quality and taste
- Sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Package and label bakery products for display or sale
- Assist with inventory management, including restocking ingredients and supplies
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and fulfilling customer requests
- Collaborate with other bakery staff to ensure efficient operations
Requirements:
- Basic math skills for calculating quantities
- Knowledge of retail math for pricing and weighing products is a plus
- Ability to follow instructions and recipes accurately
- Experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not required
- Strong attention to detail to ensure product quality and presentation
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members
