Fast paced Cardiology practice is seeking a professional and courteous person to join our "Medical Administration" team. We are looking for an energetic, career minded, goal-oriented a front office manager. This individual must have a stimulating personality and have an ability to make people feel comfortable. The individual must be a reliable person who is very organized and possesses outstanding time management and superb customer service skills. They must have experience performing billing, coding, and collection activities. Experience with the front office, verifications, and registration in a medical practice with attention to detail is required. Computer and technology skills are required as well as learning electronic medical/billing software in detail. They must have the ability to create superior customer service and build relationships with teammates, other medical professionals and their staffs, and stakeholders. Previous office management is preferred. One must portray enthusiasm, energy, and enjoyment with an ability to lead followers. The position requires the capability of collegial relationship building and networking skills.
Responsibilities include:
- all tasks associated with processing patients through check-in and check-out,
- - Assist in managing the daily operations of a medical office
- Coordinate patient appointments and maintain appointment schedules
- Collect and update patient information, including medical history and insurance details
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries or direct them to the appropriate staff member
- Process and file medical records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
- ensuring all balances, physician orders and future appointments have been made and/or addressed,
- processing daily receipts and balances at the end of the day,
- all tasks associated with administrative work for a physician.
Requirements:
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Proficiency in using electronic health record systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Previous experience in healthcare management or medical office administration
Salary commensurate with experience. Knowledge of electronic medical records systems (eClinicalworks) a plus.
