Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Title Administrator to join our team. As a Title Administrator, you will be responsible for managing various administrative tasks and providing support to our team. This is a key role that requires excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively.
- Responsibilities:
- Register all new vehicles to new owners when sold
- Transfer used vehicle titles to new owners and lien-holders when sold
- Transfer used vehicle trade in titles to dealer
- Transfer used vehicle titles to lien-holder
- Prepare and facilitate POA’s when necessary
- Process checks to DMV for title transfers and post accurately to General Ledger
- Stock all new and used vehicles into inventory
- Prepare and maintain new/used vehicle documents
- Report all new vehicles sold promptly and efficiently, ensuring all qualified incentives are claimed
- Maintain paper plates for new vehicle purchases
- Forward all financed contracts to proper financial institution along with all required documentation promptly
- Collaborate with Finance Manager to obtain any missing documents and/or signatures
- Maintain status logs of all contracts and titles in process
- Qualifications:
- - Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively- Attention to detail and accuracy in all work performed- Excellent written and verbal communication skills- Proficient in using computer software such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)- Familiarity with Tekion DMS & Title & Tag software system a plus- Previous experience in Dealership customer service or administrative roles is preferred- Knowledge of DMV processes- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment. Pay: $20.00 - $27.00 per hour
