Candidate must have a high school diploma or equivalent; additional certification or training in administration is a plus. Proven experience in administrative roles, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment. Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Familiarity with inventory management systems, preferably Acumatica. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently when required. Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation. Pre-employment drug testing required. Must be authorized to live and work in the U.S.
This position will start part time 4 hours a day and if it works out then we will move to full time. The production administrator plays a crucial role in supporting the day to day operations. This position involves various administrative tasks, including data entry, inventory management, safety documentation, providing assistance to different supervisors within the team, and office administration, provide administrative support to the plant manager, assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and other documents as needed. Accurately enter inventory data, factory orders, production orders, production transfers and process orders using the Acumatica system for Riverside Plant. Ensure timely and accurate recording of inventory transactions for Riverside Plant. Serve as a backup resource for entering production inventory and processing orders for the Stanton plant. Collaborate with the acumatlca team to maintain accurate inventory records and assist with periodic inventory audits. Assist the safety committee with administrative tasks, including scheduling meetings, taking minutes, and fulfilling other administrative needs. Coordinate the execution of monthly safety training videos for employees. Maintain documentation of completed safety training sessions and ensure proper filling. Support the development and documentation of job safety analysis (JSA) procedures and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Provide support to various supervisors as required, including assisting with administrative tasks and coordinating workflow. Assist in collecting and submitting site water runoff samples as per regulatory requirements. Manage office administrative tasks such as answering phones, organizing office files, handling incoming and outgoing mail packages.Note: This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position's duties and requirements.
