Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. As a BCBA, you will play a crucial role in providing behavioral therapy and support to individuals with autism spectrum disorder and other disabilities. Your expertise in applied behavior analysis and patient care will be essential in helping our clients achieve their goals and improve their quality of life.
Duties:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients/clients, meet with clients to observe and assess behavior challenges
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results
- Implement evidence-based behavioral interventions and strategies
- Monitor and evaluate patient/client progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, therapists, and educators
- Provide training and support to caregivers and other members of the treatment team
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Stay current on the latest research and developments in the field of applied behavior analysis
Requirements:
- Valid certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder, and other disabilities in children (preferably under 6 years of age)
- Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles and techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Proficiency in conducting patient assessments and developing treatment plans
- Familiarity with behavioral health regulations and best practices
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills - Leadership skills - Effective training skills: effective communication skills, active listening, motivating point of view, creativity, patience, adaptability, and problem solving ability.
