Role Highlights:
As a Senior Bookkeeping Specialist, you'll:
- Tackle Complex Accounts: Handle intricate client accounts with high precision, manage weekly updates, and address specialized client needs
- Lead and Coach: Initiate client onboarding, oversee significant projects, and mentor junior specialists to boost their technical skills
- Ensure Supreme Quality: Command the quality control processes to uphold the highest standards of accuracy and client satisfaction
Responsibilities Include:
- Effective Client Communication: Act as the primary contact point, managing inquiries promptly and professionally
- Meticulous Financial Handling: Manage and reconcile bank feeds and receipts, ensuring complete accuracy in financial documentation
- Strategic Interactions: Employ superior communication skills to coordinate with clients and team members effectively across various platforms
Essential Software Proficiency:
- QuickBooks Mastery Required: Extensive experience with QuickBooks Online; QuickBooks Advanced Certification and QuickBooks Desktop proficiency preferred
- Software Savvy: Experience with Dext, Bill.com, Keeper, and Gusto Payroll highly desirable
- Integration Acumen: Skilled in integrating third-party software with QuickBooks Online to streamline processes and enhance client service
Qualifications:
- Proven Experience: Minimum 3 years in a bookkeeping role with significant exposure to the listed software and processes
- Certification: Must have QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification; Advanced certification strongly preferred
- Skill Set: Exceptional problem-solving abilities, a keen eye for detail, and robust analytical skills
