Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced, skilled and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our legal team. As a Paralegal, you will provide essential support to our attorneys by conducting legal research, drafting legal documents, and assisting with case management. Duties:
- Conduct legal research and gather relevant information for cases
- Assist attorneys in preparing legal documents such as discovery, briefs, and pleadings
- Organize and maintain case files, including electronic filing systems
- Review and analyze documents for accuracy and completeness
- Assist in the preparation of trial materials, exhibits, and presentations
- Schedule meetings, depositions, and court appearances
- Prepare correspondence
- Coordinate with clients, witnesses, and other parties involved in legal proceedings
- Perform administrative tasks such as data entry, billing, and file management
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of legal terminology and procedures
- Proficient in conducting legal research using online databases and resources
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Familiarity with discovery, brief, and pleading drafting and review processes
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically
