Job Overview:
Carr’s Marketing and Sales Assistant will partner with the Company’s outside marketing firm(s) to create new designs and review existing campaigns/concepts to deliver effective marketing programs to support the growth and expansion of Carr’s products and services. Assist and manage Carr’s social media accounts by providing engaging and relevant content for existing customer base, potential customers, and internal employees.
Responsibilities:
- Manage marketing materials (line cards, presentation folders, branding, communications, brochure creation, web page additions, marketing kits for open houses, email campaign, company newsletter product updates, personnel changes, presentations, etc).
- Work and meet with Sales Managers to ensure they have the marketing and sales support needed in the marketplace.
- Discuss the marketing needs of the company with the principals and serve as the liaison between Carr Company and its external marketing partners, vendors and agencies when developing and editing materials.
- Promptly assign all incoming technology and marketing email account leads to the appropriate contacts, as directed.
- Manage trade show aspects in a cost-effective manner, continuously obtaining feedback from Sales Managers on show effectiveness and make recommendations changes, as appropriate. This includes coordinating with reps and Sales Managers and shipping show supplies, as needed.
- Coordinate development of marketing materials to include but not limited to press releases, brochures, advertisements, videos, newsletters, e-mail campaigns, banners, product highlights, and social media promotion (analysis of analytics as applicable).
- Manage the ordering and event set up for Sales Meetings. Work with the managers to complete tasks according to timeline.
- Track and report marketing-related invoices based on Company budget in a timely manner.
- Create reports and presentations, as requested on marketing-related activities, monthly review reports, rep updates, quarterly project highlights, newsletter, and other marketing initiatives.
Requirements:
· Must pass a Criminal Background Check and pass pre-employment screening tests.
· Bachelor’s degree in marketing or in business administration.
· Minimum of 5 years of marketing experience, social media experience required.
Some travel required
· Spanish language is a plus, but not required.
· Excellent communicator with enthusiasm for working with people.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite programs, specifically Excel, Word and PowerPoint
· Excellent oral/written communication, and well-developed presentation skills.
· Excellent customer relationship skills to delegate, motivate, inspire, and collaborate.
