We are currently seeking an experience coordinator to join our surgery team. The successful candidate will provide input regarding patient care and voice concerns to ensure that their patients are always in the best hands and receive the best treatment. A successful candidate must have a recently updated knowledge of surgical procedures, as well as knowledge of intra-hospital transport and triage.
Responsibilities:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated bilingual clinical coordinator fluent in both Chinese and English to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for facilitating communication between Chinese-speaking patients and healthcare providers, ensuring efficient coordination of clinical services, and providing support to both patients and staff.
Ensuring compliance and ethical standards: Coordinators ensure that all aspects of the third-party reproduction process adhere to ethical guidelines and legal requirements. They stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and best practices to ensure the highest standards of patient care, confidentiality, and ethical conduct.
Managing relationships: Coordinators act as a liaison between the donors, recipients, fertility clinics, and legal professionals involved in the process. They facilitate communication, maintain relationships, and ensure that all parties have the necessary information and support throughout the journey.
Record-keeping and documentation: Coordinators are responsible for maintaining accurate and confidential records of all interactions, screening processes, matches, and procedures. They ensure that documentation is complete, secure, and compliant with legal and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities:
Act as a liaison between Chinese-speaking patients and healthcare providers, facilitating communication and ensuring understanding of medical procedures, diagnoses, and treatment plans.
Coordinate appointments, referrals, and follow-up care for Chinese-speaking patients, ensuring timely access to healthcare services.
Provide interpretation and translation services during medical appointments, consultations, and interactions between patients and healthcare professionals.
Assist with patient education initiatives by translating materials into Chinese and providing cultural competency training to staff as needed.
Maintain accurate records of patient interactions, medical histories, and treatment plans in both Chinese and English.
Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive and culturally sensitive care for Chinese-speaking patients.
Qualifications:
Prefer Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., healthcare administration, social work, linguistics) preferred.
Fluency in Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) and English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills in both languages.
Previous experience working in a healthcare or clinical setting preferred.
Strong interpersonal skills and cultural sensitivity, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with diverse patient populations.
Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare procedures.
Proficiency in computer skills, including electronic medical records systems and Microsoft Office suite.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $36.00 per hour
