Maintenance Technician: $1,500 Sign-on Bonus + Monthly Commission Opportunities! (\*)
Come join us as a Maintenance Technician at Yards at Malvern, our modern and beautiful apartment community conveniently located about 10 miles from King of Prussia in Malvern, PA.
Are you a skilled technician who can install, troubleshoot, and repair things on your own? If so, consider joining our team! The Maintenance Technician joining our team will be responsible for the installation, troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of equipment and systems within the property. Our technicians prioritize the safety of our residents, team members, and themselves all the while delivering superior customer service. This position requires overtime and on-call work hours.
Other duties include following all preventative maintenance programs and best practices to minimize emergency repairs & service requests. As a member of the property management team, clear communication and delivering excellent customer service to our residents is key. Your attention to detail and professional knowledge will help keep our community running smoothly. You will play a critical role in helping us provide a simplistic, hassle-free rental experience to our residents.
Qualifications:
The Maintenance Technician will have at least 2 years of relevant experience, the ability to lift 50 pounds, and at least a high school diploma or GED. Additionally, technical training in one or more trades is preferred. Experience working in the multifamily or hospitality industry is also preferred. EPA 608 certification (Universal or Type I & Type II) is important; however, candidates without their EPA 608 certification will be provided with training to prepare for the EPA exam. The course and exam fees will be paid for by the company.
Compensation: Sign-on bonus. Base hourly pay + monthly commission.
(\*) The sign-on bonus will be paid in 2 installments, 50% will be paid after 30 days and 50% after 90 days of successful employment.
