Expected to travel regularly
Travel throughout Texas and surrounding regions in company-provided vehicle to perform necessary repairs and quality checks on fleet equipment
- Keeps maintenance and repair records utilizing the internal app
- Works with our in-house ASE certified mechanic to ensure all company vehicles are in good working order.
- Communicates with supervisors and team leads regarding necessary repairs
- Checks all repair work performed in a shop for completeness. This includes physical inspections and road tests before the vehicle or equipment is returned to the user.
- Details and cleans vehicles regularly
- Maintains mechanic shop and office cleanliness
- Considerable knowledge of safety practices and techniques in mechanics; considerable knowledge of gas engine mechanics; substantial understanding of vehicle make-up; and knowledge of shops and the required parts and supplies.
- Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose and repair equipment with accuracy and speed; ability to create effective working relationships with employees
- Repairs and maintains patient care equipment, analytical instruments, computer-based medical equipment systems, and related technologies to ensure its safety and operational performance characteristics.
- Performs scheduled preventive maintenance according to company policies, procedures, and industry-recognized standards.
- Maximizes patient safety by supporting patient care equipment's proper use, application, and operational performance.
- Maintains repairs inspects medical diagnostic, analytical equipment, and support systems.
- Responds to requests for medical, diagnostic, analytical equipment, and support systems. Works to ensure a certified repair shop completes the proper repairs.
- Determines the need for equipment calibration and ensures that approved calibration procedures are completed and documented.
- Maintains parts inventory and processes orders for additional stock as needed.
- Executes medical equipment system software and hardware upgrades as required.
Requirements:
- 1 year of experience in mobile maintenance- preferred
- Towing vehicle
- Exprience in vehicle towing is a plus
- TX driver's license with a clean record
