Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Record patient information and maintain accurate dental records
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
- Schedule patient appointments and manage the dental office calendar
Experience:
- Previous experience as a dental assistant is preferred, but not required
- Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments
- Familiarity with dental software and phone systems
As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in assisting the dentist and providing quality dental care to our patients. Your responsibilities will include assisting during procedures, preparing treatment rooms, taking x-rays, maintaining records, educating patients, and managing the office schedule. Previous experience as a dental assistant is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate. Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, instruments, and familiarity with dental software and phone systems are also desirable skills for this position.
