We are looking for medical office receptionist/medical assistant to improve patient care, experience and satisfaction that is capable of maintaining meaningful connections with referring offices. Supports patient care management by performing various clinical and some administrative functions, including, but not limited to scheduling/rescheduling appointments, doing on-site visits to other offices, assisting in examinations and various treatment of patients , including TMS under the direction of the physician and/or clinician, updating patient records, registering vital signs, answering telephones, directing calls, and handling schedules. This position is supported by a front desk team and asnwering service.

Requirements:
- Assign rooms to providers based on the daily schedule.
- Room patients during clinic days, take vitals and assist with documentation.
- Greet patients upon arrival, sign them in and obtain insurance information and any other necessary data.
- Provide patients with intake and new patient forms. Ensure they complete all legally required documents.
- Process payments from patients for co-pays and uninsured visits. Daily post patient payments and sign income sheet.
- Maintain hard copy patient records as well as the files stored in our EHR.
- Visit other offices, present marketing material, introduce services and providers to case managers, schedulers and physicians.
- Assist in presenting MIBSI to Primary Care Providers, physicians' offices and others.
- Excellent organization and time management skills.
- Excellent in developing and maintaining effective relationships with providers, staff, and the community.

- Prior experience as medical receptionist or medical assistant or healthcare marketer.
- Willingness to learn and build meaningful relationships.
- Availability over weekends, including every saturday.
- Team-player, attention to details, excellent communication skills, written and oral proficiency.
Occasionally:
- Answer multi-line phones and either direct the caller to the appropriate party or handle the caller’s needs yourself.
- Schedule appointments for new and recurring patients based on medical providers' availability.
- Call patients to remind them of upcoming appointments.
- Prior experience with insurance authorizations, insurance knowledge is advised, but not required.
- Knowledge of eClinicalWorks is advised, but not required.
- Microsoft Office Package.
- Knowledge of Google and Microsoft web management systems.
