PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITY
The Administrative Assistant 2 (AA2) supports the daily activities of the Contact Center Department and the team responsible for contacting blood donors and scheduling appointments to ensure efficient operations. The AA2 must be an energetic and compassionate individual who interacts with others in a positive and customer service-focused manner while motivating staff to satisfy production metrics.
Regular full-time attendance is required during normal working hours. In addition to regularly scheduled hours, flexibility is required and will include evenings, weekends, and overtime, as needed.
EDUCATION

High School Diploma or GED, required
EXPERIENCE

Minimum two years of customer service experience

Minimum two years of administrative experience
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

Displays outstanding customer service

Effective verbal and written communication skills; Ability to work with potentially difficult team members

Demonstrates the ability to effectively manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, use time efficiently, and prioritize work, with strong attention to detail

Proficient with customer relationship management systems (e.g., Hemaconnect)

Proficient in the use of database systems

Displays an excellent ability to keep focused and motivate others to do the same

Advanced knowledge of document development (e.g., correspondence, spreadsheets, forms), proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Zoom, or other meeting technology

Ability to learn, understand, and properly utilize CBC-specific applications/programs (e.g., Paycom, WellSky, DocuShare)

Exhibits initiative, discretion, and professionalism (e.g., dress, skill)
