For our new Energy business unit, we are looking for a Finance Manager who will be responsible for company's financial and administrative tasks, including the treasury, lending, compliance with the obligations in financing contracts, financial reporting, accounting and financial analysis, as well as facilities and administrative functions. The Project Finance Manager reports to the Head of Asset Finance & Operations (based in Spain) and dotted line to the Project Director (based in USA) of the Energy business unit. The position will be located in Austin, Texas.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform the financial functions and accounting of the project as “asset owner”.

Elaborate the financial information.

Supervise the relationship with the external auditing firm.

Support the shareholders in accounting matters pertaining to the project amanegemnt and delivery.

Manage financial contracts in compliance with obligations to the lenders and Tax Equity investors.

Perform, or assure performance of, all the tasks vis a vis lenders and Tax Equity.

Maintain and coordinate relationships with the different financial stakeholders on a daily basis.

Prepare financial reports and presentations.

Preparation of an annual budget and two budget updates during the year and monitor accordingly.

Cash management of the company including collection, payments, drawdown of debt from financing agreements, and financial investments from associated parties, enforce fraud prevention policies.

Report financial performance, on a monthly basis, and as needed.

Actively implement policies to optimize the performance of the company by incrementing revenues, reducing expenses and/or reducing risks.

Perform financial analyses for the Project Manager, Finance, shareholders and other third parties.

Performs other job-related duties as necessary.
Education and Required Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Economics, or similar. Other applicable post-graduate degree will be highly valued.

+ 3 years of financial management, preferably in project finance of renewable energy projects.

Strong understanding of project-related financials, cost accounting, and financial reporting.

Excellent analytical skills and the ability to manage complex budgets and financial scenarios.
